On Wednesday February 1 at 7pm the annual DP Options evening will take place in the Junior Hall. This is primarily organised for current Year 11 parents and students, as well as community members who have a child who may enter KICS in Year 12 for the IB Diploma Programme. The Diploma Programme has expanded considerably in the last few years with nearly 45 students currently undertaking the challenging Diploma Programme. The Diploma has many advantages, such as being recognized by Universities and Colleges across the world. With KICS being the only school in Sudan offering such a highly regarded Diploma Programme, it is no wonder that we are receiving more and more interest from both the expatriate and Sudanese community in the outstanding Diploma Programme.

During the evening we will explain the structure, features and advantages of the Diploma Programme as perceived by teachers, students and universities while also introducing the subject choices available to students at KICS. With subject selection being so closely linked to future college and university aspirations, information regarding this will also be provided. 

We look forward to seeing Year 11 parents and students and any other interested parties at this event.
