This year six students formed had the honor of attending The Hague International Model United Nations Conference in The Hague, Holland. Our team was made up of KICS’ seasoned MUN delegates Attiat Gamal, Nadeen Abdelmutaal, Sara Osama, Lars Wiltberger, Hisham Abu Samra and Mohamed Maowia.

The THIMUN team participated in the General Assembly, the Human Rights Council and the Disarmament Committee representing the delegation of Trinidad and Tobago.  Our head delegate, Hisham Abu Samra, gave the delegations opening speech in front of approximately 1,000 students!

THIMUN is considered the definitive MUN high school conference with more than 3,500 students from around the world participating. This is our third year attending the conference. In previous years we have represented The Holy See (the Vatican) and the Republic of Suriname.
