One of the joys of December in Khartoum is the amazing weather – pleasant temperatures and beautiful blue skies, making for perfect picnic weather! And so it was that many of the families of children in the Infant Section gathered on the school field for a family picnic ahead of the traditional Infant Show last Wednesday, 16th December. A celebration of the work that the children have been undertaking in the latter part of the first semester, the show featured songs, music and movement…and plenty of smiles. After 45 minutes of class and year group presentations all the children of the Infant Section took to the stage together to sing World’s Greatest!, an anthem of hope and joy: it was a fitting finale to an evening where everyone was able to say ‘Happy holidays!’ to all members of the school community.
