On Monday the 5th of November, the distinguished writer Jamal Mahjoub had a conversation with our community in the Secondary Library about his last published book “A line in the River, Khartoum, City of Memory". Jamal gave an engaging, thoughtful and enjoyable talk about how he started the book, his memories of Khartoum, what comes into his mind and what research he needs to provide history data. He also read one or two pages of the book.
At the end Jamal graciously held a book signing with many people buying/ordering copies of the book. Our sincere thanks go to Jamal for taking the time to speak and his continuous support to KICS community.
