KICS libraries are central to the implementation of the philosophy of an IBO education by encouraging a spirit of inquiry in our students. Our commitment to this spirit of inquiry is made evident in the centrality of our three section libraries, with a collection of over 35,000 books in total, and subscriptions to over 50 international publications plus online research services. Each library has several networked computers from which students can access the catalogues or improve their research skills. We further believe that the appropriate use of technology is vital to both organisational and learning efficiency and effectiveness. With approximately 170 classroom and lab PCs available for students throughout the school, we have a student to computer ratio of less than 2.2:1. Interactive whiteboards and LCD projectors are strategically located around the school to ensure best access to these technologies.
