We have done KICS Infant Shows for the last 10 years. We love them!

Our Little KICS, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children did a wonderful job on Sunday 18th December when they took part in the performance. This year’s show ‘Festivals of Light’ was a beautiful celebration of seven festivals of light from around the world.

The different classes inquired into festivals, what traditions or food people observe during them, and celebrations around the world, where illumination at night is a big part of the fun.

Little KICS were cute in their white dresses and outfits as they sang Santa Lucia. Reception A brought us light with Diwali an its colours. Reception B wished everyone a happy Chinese New Year. Kwanzaa, which is a celebration of family, community and culture, was presented by class 1A. Eid Mubarak was the greeting which class 1B sang beautifully to the audience. Class 2A showed us the traditions of hitting a piñata when celebrating Las Posadas. Class 2B presented Saint Nicholas and sang Christmas carols.

The children’s singing was fantastic! Thank you to the teachers and parents for helping to instil a love of theatre and performing at such an early age in our students.
